President Nixon visiting fourth and fifth-grade students at Concordia Elementary School in San Clemente, CA who had sent him birthday cards; 1/13/1971; WHPO-5456-20
Dear Educators,
To say that we are living through interesting times is an understatement. This past year has upended our personal and professional lives in ways that have stretched our imaginations. Home offices, virtual classrooms, and hybrid school schedules; concepts that seemed novel before, are now realities - realities that still pose everyday challenges.
The Nixon Library Education and Public Programs Team is committed to your classroom success in any way possible. From providing additional educational resources to virtual classroom activities, we are here for you and your students. We hope you have enjoyed our weekly informational emails over these past 19 months. Publishing these significant informational emails will continue. However, due to ongoing COVID-19 safety and health precautions and protocols, our popular in-house Education Tours and Public programs remain suspended. Currently, we are not scheduling Education Tours at this time. In anticipation of the eventual return of these programs, we maintain a list of your tour requests. Once authorized to resume Education Tours, we will contact each tour requester and confirm dates and times for each requested tour.
Please feel free to contact us at NixonEducation@nara.gov if you have any questions.
Stayed tuned for regular updates from the Nixon Library Education and Public Programs Team.
Sincerely,
The Nixon Library Education and Public Programs Team
